Basketball Recap: Oberlin Takes a Loss

Oberlin lost against Vermilion back in November of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Oberlin The Phoenix took a blow against the Vermilion Sailors, falling 65-27. The The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oberlin's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Vermilion, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-14.

Oberlin and Vermilion could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Oberlin will face off against Richmond Heights at 12:00 p.m. on February 15th down 473 places (685 vs. 212). Meanwhile, Vermilion (ranked 475th) will meet Perkins (ranked 227th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
