Baseball Recap: Concord Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Concord and Kennedy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Concord had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 6-5. The Bears have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Max Dashner was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 7.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Dashner was also big at the plate, going 2-for-6 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Aaron Hunt was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-5 with one RBI.

Concord's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Kennedy, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

As of now, neither Concord nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
