Softball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison lost against East Central back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cubs fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 4-3. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for East Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Madison will challenge Trinity Lutheran at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cubs are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for East Central, they will take on Rushville at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
