St. Edward prepares to host a special TOC 2014-15 ceremony where the football team will be nationally recognized by MaxPreps.

*Please note that this tour stop, originally scheduled for Feb. 18, has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the gym.

MaxPreps is pleased to announce that the St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio) Eagles have officially been named to the 10th Annual MaxPreps Football Tour of Champions Presented by the Army National Guard.

This exclusive honor is reserved for only 50 of the best teams in the entire country. Given the fact that nearly 17,000 varsity teams compete, that puts the Eagles in the top one-fifth of one percent of teams in the country!

In order to be eligible, the team not only had to be nationally ranked, but also had to win a state championship. Beating Wayne 31 - 21 on Dec. 6 marked the completion of an incredible 13-2 season — and earned St. Edward an invitation to the Tour of Champions.

Please join us as we celebrate with the football team, coaching staff, students and fans on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the gym.
