Basketball Recap: South Brunswick Takes a Loss

South Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost to the South Plainfield Tigers on the road by a 53-35 margin. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Tigers are ranked 94th).

South Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for South Plainfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

South Brunswick didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-48 defeat against North Brunswick on the 23rd. As for South Plainfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-55 loss against East Brunswick on the 23rd.
