Basketball Recap: Ayden Falcon's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bethany Christian over Whitko

After flying high against Lakeland Christian Academy last Saturday, Bethany Christian came back down to earth. The Bethany Christian Bruins fell 42-33 to the Whitko Wildcats on Friday. The game marked the Bruins' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bethany Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ayden Falcon, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 10 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacoby Reinhardt, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

Bethany Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Whitko, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Bethany Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-51 win against Illiana Christian on the 27th. As for Whitko, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-52 loss against Covenant Christian on the 28th.
