Volleyball Recap: Lowell Comes Up Short

Lowell's tournament run continued when they took on Castro Valley on Saturday. The Cardinals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

Lowell has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season. As for Castro Valley, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

Looking ahead, Lowell will host Galileo at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Castro Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Nevada Union on the 12th.
