Riverheads barely beat Waynesboro the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Gladiators put the hurt on the Little Giants with a sharp 8-1 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Gladiators in their matchups with the Little Giants: they've now won eight in a row.

Riverheads now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Waynesboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-15.

Coincidentally, Riverheads and Waynesboro will both be playing Buffalo Gap the next time they take the field. The Gladiators will host the Bison at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, while the Little Giants will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
