Basketball Recap: Raymore-Peculiar Victorious

It was a proper cat-fight when Raymore-Peculiar took on Webb City on Friday. The Raymore-Peculiar Panthers had just enough and edged the Webb City Cardinals out 53-50. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 55-51 victory the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Webb City lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Holton Keith, who went 7 of 14 en route to 17 points. The matchup was Keith's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Riggs, who posted 11 points.

Raymore-Peculiar and Ruskin will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Webb City, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-65 defeat against Carthage on the 14th.
