Football Recap: Douglass Takes a Loss

Douglass lost against Elk City back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans were dealt a 37-6 loss at the hands of the Elks. The Trojans' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Douglass now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Elk City, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Douglass is set to take on their familiar foe Elgin at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, Elk City will square off against rival Weatherford at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
