Lost River took a 13-run defeat the last time they faced off against Lakeview, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Lost River narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Lakeview 9-8. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 13-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win got Lost River back to even at 1-1.
