Basketball Game Preview: Marlington Dukes vs. West Branch Warriors

The Marlington Dukes will head out to challenge the West Branch Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Marlington is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since December 17, 2024 on Friday. They lost 80-56 to Carrollton.

Meanwhile, West Branch earned a 47-36 victory over Minerva on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Marlington's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6. As for West Branch, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Marlington came up short against West Branch in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 60-49. Can Marlington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
