Volleyball Preview: Columbia Raiders vs. Mogadore Wildcats        
        
		
             The Columbia Raiders will venture away from home to  face off against the Mogadore Wildcats  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Saturday, Columbia had just enough and edged Wellington out  3-2.
 Columbia took Wellington into a fifth set  where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 17-25, 20-25,  15-13.
 Columbia can attribute much of their success to  Nadia Hritz, who  had six  digs and four  aces. That's the most  aces  Hritz has posted since back in September.
 Meanwhile, Mogadore was able to grind out a solid  win over Rootstown two weeks ago, taking the game  3-1.
 Mogadore had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-20, 25-13,  25-23.
 Columbia has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record  this season. As for Mogadore, their victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 13-4.
 Columbia took their  win against Mogadore  when the teams last played  back in October of 2023 by a conclusive  3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Columbia since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
