Softball Recap: Rain Comes Up Short

Rain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs, falling 30-1.

Rain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for UMS-Wright Prep, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Rain will welcome Blount at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rain has given up an average of 17.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for UMS-Wright Prep, they will face off against Elberta at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. UMS-Wright Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.8 runs per game this season.
