Softball Recap: West Linn's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

West Linn was the 9-4 winner over Tualatin when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell just short of the Timberwolves by a score of 7-6 on Monday.

Piper Ruthrauff was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Kendall Atwood was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

West Linn's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-5. As for Tualatin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.
