Baseball Recap: Lebanon Takes a Loss

Lebanon managed to slip by Woodlawn the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Greyhounds lost 9-0 to the Cardinals on Wednesday. The Greyhounds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Lebanon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landen Davis, who went 1-for-4 with one double.

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Woodlawn, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.

The future could be bright for both Lebanon and Woodlawn: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Greyhounds will try to hand Dupo their 14th-straight loss when the two meet at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Woodlawn will look to extend Elverado's four-game losing streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
