Softball Recap: Center Hill Takes a Loss

Center Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-0 to the Lafayette Commodores. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 10-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Center Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lafayette, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Coming up, Center Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Saltillo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lafayette, they will square off against Southaven at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Lafayette's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
