Football Game Preview: Ferriday Trojans vs. Beekman Charter Tigers

Ferriday has gone a perfect 3-0 against Beekman Charter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Ferriday knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Beekman Charter likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Ferriday blew past Delhi Charter, posting a 50-6 win. Fans of the Trojans have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Ferriday relied on the efforts of Chardaruis Wilson, who gained 114 total yards and three touchdowns, and Jase Harris, who threw for 201 yards and three TDs. Those 201 passing yards gave Harris a new career-high. Robert Taylor was Harris' top target, picking up 105 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-19, which was the final score in Beekman Charter's tilt against Mangham on Friday. The loss put an end to the Tigers' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Beekman Charter fell to 2-1. As for Ferriday, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Everything went Ferriday's way against Beekman Charter when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Ferriday made off with a 32-6 win. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
