Volleyball Recap: Fallbrook's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Fallbrook won the last time they faced Bonsall, and Jason Fuentes did his part to make sure it happened again. The Fallbrook Warriors put the hurt on the Bonsall Legionnaires with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday for which the team can thank Fuentes, who had four digs and four aces. That's the most digs he has posted over his last three matchups.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fallbrook was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-14.

Fallbrook's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-3. As for Bonsall, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fallbrook will welcome Point Loma at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bonsall, they will be playing at home against Health Sciences at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
