Basketball Recap: Meek's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

It was a proper cat-fight when Meek took on Berry on Saturday. The Meek Tigers took a 54-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Berry Wildcats. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Jordan Jackson was his usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 24 points, 15 boards, and 14 blocks for Berry. Jackson's morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Max Westbrook, who went 7 of 12 en route to 15 points.

Meek's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-11. As for Berry, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

Meek has already played their next game (against Falkville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Berry has already played their next matchup, a 67-50 loss against Hubbertville on the 20th.
