Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Herndon). They took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging a 71-25 win over the Osbourn Park Yellowjackets. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Herndon pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Osbourn Park, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Herndon and Middletown will round out the year against one another at at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Middletown will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Herndon surely won't give up without a fight. As for Osbourn Park, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Manassas Park at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
