Basketball Recap: Lebanon Gets Big Win over Higher-Ranked Manheim Township

Lebanon hadn't done well against Manheim Township recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Lebanon Cedars walked away with a 62-52 win over the Manheim Township Blue Streaks. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Cedars' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 470th, while the Blue Streaks are ranked 196th).

Lebanon's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8. As for Manheim Township, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Lebanon will venture away from home to take on J.P. McCaskey at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Manheim Township, they will challenge Penn Manor at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Manheim Township is facing Penn Manor at the right time seeing as Penn Manor is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
