 The Albertus Magnus Falcons had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They managed a  40-36 win over Barack Obama School for Social Justice. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Albertus Magnus also won the last time the pair played  back in January of 2023.
 Barack Obama School for Social Justice lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Seediya Jabbi, who  scored ten points along with seven  rebounds and three  blocks.  Miguel Gonzalez was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with eight  rebounds.
 Albertus Magnus now  has a winning record of 4-3. As for Barack Obama School for Social Justice, they have  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.
 Albertus Magnus will look to defend their home court  on Saturday against Woodlands at 12:00  p.m. Woodlands presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Albertus Magnus in New York (Woodlands is ranked 156th, while Albertus Magnus is ranked 337th). As for Barack Obama School for Social Justice, they will head out on the road to  take on  Yonkers Montessori Academy at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Yonkers Montessori Academy is coming into the  contest on a three-game losing streak.
