Football Game Preview: Princeton vs. Swansboro

Swansboro have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Princeton on the road at Princeton Youth Football Night at 7:00 PM on Friday. If the matchup is anything like the 50-53 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.

Swansboro came within a touchdown against East Carteret three weeks ago, but wound up with a 14-21 loss. Swansboro got a solid performance out of senior Nick Lee, who rushed for 71 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Princeton beat North Johnston 38-32 last Friday.

Princeton's win lifted them to 4-0 while Swansboro's loss dropped them down to 1-2. Princeton's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Swansboro defensive front that amassed four sacks against East Carteret, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
