Baseball Recap: Parkway South Finds Playoff Glory Versus Jackson

It's playoff time, and Parkway South had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Jackson Fighting Indians 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Friday.

Parkway South got a great performance from Parker Wolf as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. What's more, Wolf posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.

On the hitting side, Parkway South's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Schneider, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

The win (which was Parkway South's fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-10. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.8 runs across that stretch. As for Jackson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 24-15.

As of now, neither Parkway South nor the Fighting Indians have any future games scheduled.
