Softball Recap: Wheatmore Warriors vs. Thomasville Bulldogs
While Wheatmore didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Thomasville Bulldogs a 17-0 shutout on Wednesday. Considering the Warriors have won three matchups by more than 15 runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Kenzie Hege and Emma Gower were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Hege tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, Hege went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Gower went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and two RBI.
