Volleyball Recap: Campo Verde Takes a Loss

Campo Verde's tournament run continued when they took on DuPont Manual on Saturday. The Coyotes fell 2-0 to the Crimsons.

Morgan Meyer paced Campo Verde's offense, picking up three kills. Meyer were helped by Adeline Braegger and Riley Swezey, who contributed two assists each.

Campo Verde has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season. As for DuPont Manual, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-12 record this season.

Campo Verde will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Horizon at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for DuPont Manual, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Seneca on the 1st.
