Basketball Recap: Estrella Triumphs

Estrella's game back in December of 2025 was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They managed a 54-49 win over the Tohono O'Odham Eagles. Things were looking grim for the Sidewinders in the second quarter (they were down by 20) but they stormed back to get the game.

The victory got Estrella back to even at 2-2. As for Tohono O'Odham, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Estrella will head out to face off against Ville de Marie Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tohono O'Odham, they and Roosevelt Preparatory Academy will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
