Baseball Recap: Kenton Ridge Has No Trouble Against Northwestern

Kenton Ridge never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Northwestern Warriors. Considering the Cougars have won 11 games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jakob Groeschel was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Aiden Yeatts was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Kenton Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Northwestern, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

Looking ahead, Kenton Ridge will head out to challenge Bethel at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northwestern, they will host Troy Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
