Basketball Recap: Vandegrift Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Vandegrift won the last time they faced Hendrickson and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vandegrift Vipers enjoyed a cozy 63-45 win over the Hendrickson Hawks. Given the Vipers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Hawks are ranked 825th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Vandegrift is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Hendrickson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.
