Baseball Recap: Lone Star Comes Up Short

Lone Star was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Argyle Eagles.

Brayden Harlan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Lone Star's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Argyle, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Lone Star will face off against Byron Nelson at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Argyle, they will be playing at home against Pearland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
