Softball Recap: Stratford Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

Stratford had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Cadott Hornets 12-0 on Tuesday. Considering the Tigers have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Stratford has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Cadott, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Stratford nor Cadott have any future games scheduled.
