While Orchard Park's win against Jamestown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Quakers won by a run and slipped past the Red & Green 2-1. The Quakers haven't had any issues with the Red & Green recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Connor Valiquette spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on eight hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Orchard Park's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jake Gocella, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Grant Pieniazek also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Orchard Park's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Jamestown, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Orchard Park will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red & Green: the pair will be back at it again later today.
