Football Recap: Pike County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pike County fell victim to Haralson County and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Rebels. Having soared to a lofty 36 points in the game before, the Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Brayden O'Connell threw for 119 yards on 15 of 23 attempts. Semaj Smith was his top target, picking up 56 receiving yards.

Pike County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Haralson County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pike County will challenge Sumter County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Haralson County, they will venture away from home to challenge Greene County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
