While Cherokee's win against Buffalo wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chiefs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Bison on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Chiefs in their matchups with the Bison: they've now won five in a row.

Cherokee saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lane Miller, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI. Another was Cooper Cantellay, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Cherokee's victory bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Buffalo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Cherokee is taking a road trip to face off against Fargo/Gage at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Buffalo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
