If Sturgeon wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Westran, they should've done a better job of containing Cruze Haynes. The Hornets walked away with a 57-44 win over the Bulldogs on Tuesday for which the team can thank Haynes, who went 11-for-16 en route to 27 points and six rebounds. The game was his fifth in a row with at least 15 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Westran and bumps their season record up to 17-4. As for Sturgeon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Westran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-47 win against Marceline on the 5th. Sturgeon has also already played their next game (against Wellsville-Middletown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
