Game recap: Flora High School Football Team tops Belton-Honea Path

COLUMBIA, S.C. - After trading leads six times, Flora (Columbia, S.C.) snatched the lead for good when it threw a touchdown in the second quarter, paving the way for victory over Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, S.C.) 59-42.

The Falcons were up 31-21 at the half after taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the second quarter.

Both teams scored seven points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at 10 entering the fourth.

Korey Thompson played well for the Bears. The senior running back ran for three touchdowns. His performance brought his touchdown total to 28 on the year.

The loss comes after Belton-Honea Path defeated Woodruff 63-56 last week. The loss snapped Belton-Honea Path's 2-game winning streak.
