Volleyball Recap: Carlisle Takes a Loss

Carlisle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Carroll Tigers. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Carlisle started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-11, 25-20, 25-21.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Carroll, they moved to 10-16 with that win, which also ended their eight-match losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Carlisle is set to take on their familiar foe North Polk at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Carroll will face off against rival Boone at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
