Basketball Game Preview: Red Springs Red Devils vs. West Bladen Knights

The Red Springs Red Devils will face off against the West Bladen Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Saturday, Red Springs came up short against East Columbus and fell 38-30.

Meanwhile, West Bladen came tearing into Monday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Golden Tornadoes with a sharp 47-26 win. The 47-point effort marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

West Bladen's win came from a few key players Red Springs will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Chase Williams, who posted 15 points. Jackson Pait was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Red Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for West Bladen, their victory bumped their record up to 16-1.

Red Springs was taken down by West Bladen 70-35 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Red Springs was down 34-11.
