Volleyball Recap: Indian Rocks Christian Comes Up Short

Indian Rocks Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Wiregrass Ranch Bulls by a score of 2-1.

When it comes to explaining why Indian Rocks Christian lost, don't look at Olivia Anderson. Despite the final result, she hit 100% for six kills and 11 digs and two aces. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Tesa Johnson also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Indian Rocks Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Wiregrass Ranch, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Indian Rocks Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Mitchell on the 6th. As for Wiregrass Ranch, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cypress Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
