Platt hadn't done well against Bristol Central recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Rams. This was payback for Platt, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Platt and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1. As for Bristol Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
