Volleyball Recap: Pioneer Comes Up Short

Pioneer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Covina Colts.

Pioneer was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Pioneer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Covina, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Coming up, Pioneer will welcome Los Altos at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Covina, they will take on Edgewood at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
