Soccer Recap: Cass Takes a Loss

Cass came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Woodland Wildcats, falling 5-0. The loss continues a trend for the Colonels in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Cass' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Woodland, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cass will host Cedartown at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodland, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Northwest Whitfield at 5:30 p.m. Northwest Whitfield will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Woodland surely won't give up without a fight.
