Marcellus waltzed into their contest  on Tuesday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They walked away with  a   9-4  win over the Solvay Bearcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played  back in May of 2024.
 Kendall LaManche made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  struck out 11 batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   seven  hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with one  double and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Maddy Richer, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.  Jordan O'Connor was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  triple and one  run.
Marcellus pushed their record up to 14-2 with the  victory, which was their 18th straight  at home dating back to last season. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Solvay,  with the  loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-7.
As of now, neither Marcellus nor the Bearcats have any future games scheduled.
