Softball Recap: Pitman Comes Up Short

Pitman was the 9-8 winner over Turlock when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Pride fell 7-3 to the Bulldogs on Thursday.

Pitman saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Juliet Jimenez, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. Another was Shelby Wood, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Pitman's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Turlock, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pitman is set to face off against their familiar foe Enochs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Turlock will take on rival Gregori at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
