Recap: Anthony Wildcats vs. Mountain View Lobos
The Anthony Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 71-50 walloping at the hands of Mountain View. Anthony has struggled against Mountain View recently, as their game on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Mountain View's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mathew Saucedo, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jesus " gio" Rodriguez, who scored 16 points.
Anthony's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Mountain View, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-8 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anthony will square off against Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 10. Mountain View will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Chapin at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. Chapin presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Mountain View in Texas (Chapin is ranked 21st, while Mountain View is ranked 1482nd).
