Basketball Game Preview: Sublette Larks vs. Stanton County Trojans

Sublette hasn't had much luck against Stanton County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Sublette Larks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Stanton County Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Sublette is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 40th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They had to suffer through a 67-23 loss at the hands of Syracuse. The Larks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-12.

Meanwhile, Stanton County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Wallace County, falling 64-42. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 159th, while the Wildcats are ranked 49th).

Stanton County now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Sublette, their loss dropped their record down to 0-19.
