Baseball Recap: Wayne Takes a Loss

Wayne lost against Panguitch back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Badgers lost 19-2 to the Bobcats. The Badgers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayne saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Robins, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Another was RJ Pauu, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Wayne now has a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Wayne and Panguitch will both be playing Altamont the next time they take the field. The Bobcats will head out to face the Longhorns at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Badgers will head out to face them at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
