Volleyball Recap: Nashoba Valley Tech Comes Up Short

Nashoba Valley Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Minuteman Regional Minuteman, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Minuteman this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Saturday.

While Nashoba Valley Tech ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-17.

Minuteman Regional found their leader in sophomore Samantha Valencia, who had 17 digs. Those 17 digs set a new season-high mark for Valencia.

Nashoba Valley Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Minuteman Regional, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Nashoba Valley Tech will take on rival Academy of Notre Dame at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Minuteman Regional is set to challenge their familiar foe KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
