Volleyball Recap: Herriman Takes a Loss

After flying high against Provo on Thursday, Herriman came back down to earth. The Mustangs came up short against the Lone Peak Knights on Friday, falling 3-0. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Herriman took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-18.

Herriman's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lone Peak, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Herriman will square off against Riverton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Lone Peak, they will venture away from home to face off against Orem at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
